- Payment Information: Subscription and purchase data processed through Google Play Billing or PayPal. We do not directly store your credit card or payment details.

- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Features accessed, buttons clicked, conversion operations performed, and general interaction patterns.

5.5 Infatica P2B Network (Optional)
If you choose the "Free with Infatica" option, your device participates in the Infatica peer-to-peer bandwidth network:
- What it does: Shares a small portion of your idle internet bandwidth with the Infatica network.
- Consent: This feature is completely optional and requires your explicit consent.
- Data: Only your IP address is used. No personal files, browsing history, or private data is accessed or shared.
- Control: You can disable Infatica at any time in the App settings.

6. Document Processing
6.1 Local Processing
Most document viewing and editing is performed entirely on your device. Your files remain on your device and are not uploaded to any server.
6.2 Server-Side Conversion
Certain features (PDF to Word, Word to PDF conversions) require server processing:
- Your document is encrypted during transmission (HTTPS).
- The document is processed and immediately returned to your device.
- We do not store, read, or retain your documents on our servers.
6.3 AI Features
The AI document assistant sends your prompts to our AI server for processing. No personal identifying information is included with these requests.
7. Data Storage & Security
7.1 Local Storage
- Recent Files: A list of recently opened file names and paths is stored locally.
- Preferences: Your settings (theme, font size, etc.) are stored on your device.
- Cache: Temporary files for performance optimization.
7.2 Cloud Backup (Optional)
If you enable cloud storage sync (Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive):
- Your documents can be uploaded to and accessed from your cloud storage account.
- This data is synced only to your own cloud storage account.
- You can sign out from any cloud service at any time in Settings.
- Each cloud service is independent - you can use one, some, or all of them.
7.3 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Certificate pinning for API communications
- No storage of sensitive documents on our servers
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Advertising
8.1 Free Users
Free users see advertisements powered by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on:
- Your interests and browsing behavior
- Your device information
- Your approximate location
8.2 Ad-Free Experience
Premium subscribers and Infatica participants enjoy an ad-free experience.

- Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase according to Google's retention policies.
- Conversion Data: Not retained - documents are processed and immediately deleted from our servers.
- Payment Records: Retained as required for transaction records and fraud prevention.
13. International Users
Our servers are located in various regions. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to servers that may be located outside your country of residence.
14. Google Drive Integration
Doczio Reader Viewer Editor integrates with Google Drive to provide cloud storage and file management capabilities. We offer two levels of Google Drive integration:
1. App-Specific Backup
- Scopes used:
drive.file, drive.appdata
- Purpose: Store and sync your documents in a dedicated app folder within your Google Drive
- Access: Only Doczio Reader Viewer Editor can access files in this folder
- Data stored: Your scanned documents, converted files, and app settings
- User control: You can delete these files at any time through the app or Google Drive
2. Browse My Drive Feature
- Scope used:
drive.readonly
- Purpose: View and open documents directly from your entire Google Drive within the app
- Access: Read-only access to view file names, types, sizes, and modification dates across your Drive
Functionality:
- Browse folders and files in your Google Drive
- Download and view supported document formats (PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, images, etc.)
How We Handle Your Drive Data
What we access:
- File metadata (names, types, sizes, modification dates)
- File contents (only when you explicitly choose to open a file)
- Your Google account email address (for authentication purposes)
What we DO NOT do:
- We do NOT store your Google Drive files on our servers
- We do NOT share your Drive data with third parties
- We do NOT access files without your explicit action
- We do NOT sell or monetize your Drive data in any way
Local Processing
- Files downloaded from Google Drive are stored temporarily in your device's cache
- You can clear this cache at any time through the app settings or your device settings
- All document viewing and processing happens locally on your device
Revoking Access
You can revoke Doczio Reader Viewer Editor's access to your Google Drive at any time through:
- Google Account Settings: Visit myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Remove access for Doczio Reader Viewer Editor
- Within the App: Go to Settings → Google Drive → Sign Out
After revoking access, the app will no longer be able to access your Google Drive. Your locally cached files will remain until you clear them. Your app-specific backup folder in Google Drive will remain until you manually delete it.

15. Dropbox Integration
Doczio Reader Viewer Editor integrates with Dropbox to provide cloud storage and file management capabilities.
Authentication
- OAuth 2.0: We use Dropbox's secure OAuth 2.0 authentication with PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) for enhanced security.
- Tokens: Access tokens are stored securely on your device and are never sent to our servers.
What We Access
- File Metadata: File names, types, sizes, and modification dates for browsing your Dropbox.
- File Contents: Only when you explicitly choose to open or upload a file.
- Account Information: Your Dropbox email and display name for identification purposes.

- Within the App: Go to Settings → Cloud Storage → Dropbox → Sign Out
- Dropbox Settings: Visit dropbox.com/account/connected_apps → Remove access for Doczio Reader Viewer Editor
16. Microsoft OneDrive Integration
Doczio Reader Viewer Editor integrates with Microsoft OneDrive to provide cloud storage and file management capabilities.
Authentication
